What is copywriting?
Firstly, we're not patent agents! That’s "copyright", where you slap a patent on someone’s idea. We can’t do that for you – try the Patent Office.
Copywriters produce promotional text for advertising media. It could be a brochure for a day trip to Mars or the label on a tin of soup. For either task, our job is to get you excited.
It’s a lot harder with soup, but that’s our problem.
Why do I need a copywriter?
Good question. You know more about your business than we do, so why ask us to promote it?
The answer is we’re not writing about your business - we’re writing about your customers. The most effective sales copy finds empathy with the customer by addressing their dilemmas, their hang-ups and aspirations. As copywriters our job is to focus on that problem, then finally swoop in with the solution – that’s you.
How will my project be managed?
We’ll start with a fact-find. We want to know everything your customers know and everything you want them to. Then once we understand your objectives, we’ll produce a creative brief outlining the task and delivery dates.
We’ll liase with you throughout the creative process, tying in with other agencies or staff as you see fit. And once the main job is signed off, we can lend a hand with running the campaign if needed.
